Product safety and recalls

Every product page names the manufacturer and the responsible person in the EU, as the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 requires. This page says how to report a safety problem and where any recall will be published.

Who is responsible for the products

How to identify your product

Each garment carries a sewn-in label with the style name, size, fibre composition of the lining, care instructions, the manufacturer and the EU responsible person, and a batch or order number. Keep the label; it is how we trace a product.

Safety information

• Our jackets, vests and gloves are casual clothing. They are not protective equipment and give no protection in a motorcycle accident.
• Leather is not flame resistant. Keep garments away from open flames and high heat.
• Leather and metal parts comply with the REACH restrictions on chromium VI in leather, azo dyes and nickel release from parts that touch the skin.
• Follow the care instructions on the label and in the care guide. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Report a safety problem

Email support@arianleather.co with the subject “Product safety”, your order number, photos, a description of what happened and whether anyone was hurt. We answer within 2 working days. Where a product may have caused or could cause an accident, we inform the market surveillance authorities through the EU Safety Business Gateway and keep a record for ten years.

Recalls

There are no recalls. If one becomes necessary we publish it here, email every customer who bought the product, and tell you what to do and what you will receive.

Accidents

If a product has caused an injury, please tell us even if you do not want anything from us. The law requires us to report it, and it helps us prevent the next one.
