Two hides. Each chosen for what it does best.
Every product page names the animal, the finish and the lining. This page explains what those words mean on your back.
The two hides
One for jackets, one for vests.
Side by side
What you feel, in one table.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Finish and grain
The words on the label, explained.
Full-grain leather keeps the hide's natural surface, marks and all; top-grain has the surface lightly sanded for an even look; corrected grain is sanded and embossed. Every hide we use is full-grain.
Aniline finishes let the grain show through and age visibly; semi-aniline adds a thin protective coat; pigmented finishes are the most uniform and the most resistant. Ours are semi-aniline: the grain shows, the colour stays even, and a shower does no harm.
Natural marks, veins and small variations in shade are part of a real hide. They are not faults, and no two jackets are identical.
Where it comes from
Our hides are tanned in Pakistan, close to the workshop in Sialkot, and tested under the EU REACH rules for chromium VI, azo dyes and nickel in hardware.
Care, in one line
