Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to browse, build a jacket and order on arianleather.co. The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA, the standard behind the European Accessibility Act and Portuguese Decree-Law 82/2022.

Conformance status

Partially conformant. The new site was designed and tested against WCAG 2.1 AA before launch. Where something does not yet conform we say so below.

What we have done

• Text and controls keep a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background, including on the dark pages.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring, and in the order a sighted reader would expect.
• Every image has a text alternative; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Forms have visible labels, error messages that say what to fix, and no time limits.
• Text can be enlarged to 200 percent and the layout reflows on narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
• The jacket builder can be operated by keyboard and screen reader; every choice is announced and the running price and summary are read out as they change.
• Videos have captions and never start with sound on their own.

Known limitations

• The builder's drawing of the jacket is visual; the text summary beside it carries the same information.
• PDF downloads such as the withdrawal form are tagged, but older documents linked from the journal may not be.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our answer you may contact the market surveillance authority for accessible services in your country; in Portugal this is the competent authority designated under Decree-Law 82/2022.
