What works on leather
Bold shapes, clean lines, few colours.
Thread cannot do what ink does. Leather also needs a looser stitch than cloth, so fine detail fills in and gradients turn to bands.
Send vector files first: SVG, AI, EPS or PDF. Otherwise a PNG at least 2,000 px wide on a transparent background, one file per placement. Our digitiser redraws your artwork as stitches, chooses satin or fill, and sends you a preview that shows exactly what the machine will sew.

Thread colours
We choose the thread to suit the colour of your jacket, so the piece reads as one object: gold or ivory on black, cream or dark brown on cognac, tonal on oxblood. Want a specific colour? Say so in the notes and the preview shows it.

Questions, answered.
Can I embroider a stocked jacket instead of a custom one?
Embroidery is done before assembly, so it is part of the builder: start from the same style, keep the standard size, add the placements you want. The price is the custom base price plus €15 per placement.
Will the stitching damage the leather?
No. Leather takes embroidery well when the stitch density is set for it, which is what the digitising step is for. The back of the embroidery is covered by the lining.
Can I use a brand's logo?
Only marks you own or are licensed to use. We do not stitch other organisations' trademarks, or content that is hateful or unlawful, and we may decline a design without giving a reason.
How do I care for the embroidery?
As the rest of the jacket: wipe, dry away from heat, never machine wash. Thread is colourfast; keep solvents and leather dyes off it.
