The leather jacket gift guide
How to find their size without asking, what to give at each budget, the custom route with a message stitched inside, and the lead times that decide when to order.
Find the size without asking
Three ways, in order of reliability. First, the label of a jacket they wear and like, in the same category: a biker jacket size tells you their biker jacket size, a suit size does not. Second, a tape measure around the chest of a T-shirt they own, laid flat, doubled, which is close to their chest measurement; read it against our size guide, which is built on body measurements. Third, ask someone who lives with them. If you are still between two sizes, take the smaller for someone who wears T-shirts underneath and the larger for someone who layers knits. Stocked pieces can be returned or exchanged within 14 days with a prepaid label in the EU, so a near miss is fixable.
Under €60
Gloves. Ventura driving gloves at €39,99, Noire at €49,99 and the distressed Argento at €59,99, all in leather cut to match the jackets. Glove sizes go by the palm measurement, which is easy to take from a glove they own; the size guide has the chart. A pair of leather gloves is the gift for someone who already has the jacket.
Around €100
A leather vest. Full-grain cowhide, which means it is the piece they will still have in twenty years. SOA Classic for the club cut with a stand collar, Rustic Rebel for the traditional V-neck, at €99,99; SOA Denim at €89,99 for someone who wears denim every day. Vests are forgiving on size, which makes them a safer gift than a jacket.
€150 to €200
A jacket. Women's styles are €149,99: Rebel and Women's Phantom for someone who wears dresses and skirts, Urban Women's and Women's Stripes for someone in jeans. Men's are €169,99: Phantom if the jacket should be the outfit, Thunder Ride or Trucker if it should go with everything, Aviator for someone who is always cold. The Trinity leather trench, at €199,99, is the one for someone who wears a coat over everything. The custom route
For the person who has everything, a jacket that exists once. The builder cuts any style in their colour, leather, hardware and lining, from €249,99, and adds what no stocked jacket can: their initials on the chest, a date on the back, or a message from you stitched into the lining pocket, where only they will read it. Two cautions. Custom pieces are made to measure and cannot be returned, so either get their nine measurements (the measuring guide shows how) or order a standard size with the embroidery and keep the custom measurements for a jacket they design themselves. And the stitch preview goes to the email on the order, so use yours if it is a surprise.
When to order
- Stocked jackets, vests and gloves ship from Portugal within one working day; standard delivery is free and takes five to seven working days, express is €20 and takes two to three.
- Custom pieces are at the door three to four weeks after the spec sheet is approved, plus the five working days the stitch preview takes if there is embroidery. For a date, order five weeks ahead.

How to wrap it
Not in plastic. Leather needs air, so a cotton garment bag or a box with tissue paper, and a wide wooden hanger alongside if you want to give the one thing most people never buy for themselves. Add the care guide link to the card; it is four lines and it doubles the life of the gift.
Questions
Can they exchange it for another size? Stocked pieces, yes, within 14 days, prepaid in the EU. Custom pieces, no, which is why the measuring step matters.
Can I hide the price? The parcel carries a delivery note, not an invoice. The invoice goes to the email on the order.
What if I know nothing about their taste? Black gloves, or a black café racer. Both are impossible to get wrong.
